Do you know that feeling when you first step into freezing cold water?

Your toes instantly go numb, your breath catches in your chest, and for a split second you question why you’re doing it at all. Then you dive under, get that familiar brain freeze, and suddenly you’re completely awake.

Southern Waters was inspired by those moments. The icy winter swims, the thick wetsuits, the wild beauty of Tasmania’s coastline, and the memories made in waters so cold they’re impossible to forget.

This piece is a celebration of the Southern Ocean and all those places around the world where the water is freezing, invigorating, and somehow keeps calling you back.
