Reefbound draws from memories of sailing through the Whitsundays during

summer. Days are spent in bathers from dusk till dawn, fishing, snorkelling, and

moving between the boat and the water, with salt drying on your skin under the

sun. Within Summer’s Rhythm, the work reflects the freedom and simplicity of

these days on the water, where time slows and the experience of summer is

shaped by the ocean, the heat, and the quiet rhythm of life at sea.
