With festival season right around the corner, I wanted this painting to feel like the whole weekend rolled into one.

Setting up camp with your friends. Going for a dip when it gets way too hot. Heading back to the campsite, cracking open something cold from the esky and getting ready while the music is already playing in the distance.

Pulling on your favourite boots. Drinks in hand. Dancing until your feet hurt. Losing your friends, finding them again, and somehow ending up back at the campsite talking absolute rubbish into the early hours of the morning.

All those little moments that make festival what they are. This is Festival Season.
